SHEAF Award for Excellence in Fundraising
Sisters Helping Ensure AOII's Future
Collegiate and alumnae chapter awards are given in two categories:
- Chapter giving the largest donation to the Foundation
- Chapter giving the highest per capita donation to the Foundation
Citations are given to the second and third place winners in each category.
To be considered, all donations must be received by May 15 each year at the AOII Foundation office. Awards at convention will be determined based on giving for that biennium. The percentage of money given in relation to the chapter size will be taken into consideration in calculating per capita donation awards.
Additionally, chapters donating at least $5 per member receive a certificate of special recognition from the Foundation.

Barbara Daugs Hunt Award
The Barbara Daugs Hunt Award, recognizing an alumna for lifetime service to the Foundation, is given biennially at convention by the Alpha Omicron Pi Foundation. The award was endowed by Cecil Hunt and named in honor of this Past International President and Past Foundation President, a Phi Delta alumna who has served local chapters, her Fraternity and Foundation in many capacities for over 40 years. It is appropriate to honor Barbara's lifelong dedication to AOII and memorialize her contributions to both the Fraternity and the Foundation by recognizing the alumna who, through outstanding lifelong service and support to AOII Foundation, its mission and its programs, exemplifies her commitment.
