Educational, leadership and programming grants provide opportunities for women in AOII to gain important leadership skills, strengthen career values, enhance personal strengths, and stress the importance of today's women serving as positive role models for future AOIIs.
Educational grants awarded by the Foundation to the Fraternity ensure that Alpha Omicron Pi will remain a leader among women's fraternal organizations and uphold the high standards of our sisterhood.
Supported through contributions to the Loyalty Fund and investment income from the Endowment Fund, these grants are awarded to the Fraternity annually, based on program plans for the next year.
For 2007-2008, grants totaling $100,000 were awarded to the Fraternity. Approved grants for full or partial support included:
- Support for the AOII Archives Museum
- Leadership Development training for Staff
- Chapter Adviser training
- Fulfilling the Promise-membership development program
