Meet our new Board members

Three members have been elected to the 2007-2009 Foundation Board.
Meet them now!

Janet Siegel
Janet resides in Chicago, IL and is an initiated member of Delta Chapter (Tufts U). She professionally serves as Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals until August 9. Beginning August 27, she will be employed by the law firm of Seyfarth Shaw LLP.
Janet writes, "As a 'thirty-something' professional woman, I am often the target of philanthropic solicitations from various organizations that are seeking to develop a new base of support among young and potentially affluent people who have not yet formed an allegiance to a particular cause. As a former development professional myself, I know how hard it can be to persuade people to give when there are so many worthy causes one could choose to support. And so the AOII Foundation must continue to seek out persuasive and innovative ways to reach AOIIs and other prospective supporters in ways that touch them and inspire them to participate."
Cindy Visot
Cindy resides in Wesley Chapel, FL and is an initiated member of Kappa Tau Chapter (Southeastern Louisiana U). She professionally serves as Chief of Staff/Assistant Corporate Secretary for the University of South Florida.
Cindy writes, "The AOII Foundation is the heart, soul and backbone of the Fraternity. I believe that the stability and future of the Fraternity is based on a strong and stable Foundation. As a member of the Foundation Board I would work to raise the awareness and appreciation of the critical role the Foundation plays to the Fraternity. Philanthropy and service are important to me, and I would like to be in a position where I can most influence our sisterhood about the AOII Foundation and the critical role it plays in the organization."
Caroline Lazzara
Caroline, Lambda Beta (California State U Long Beach), will be remaining on the Foundation Board for 2007-2011, serving her second term as a Director. She currently resides in Stamford, Connecticut and is employed by Galen Partners.
Caroline writes, "I have served on the Foundation Board for the past four years and am looking forward to continuing. Over the past eight years, the Foundation has made tremendous strides, however we need to continue raising our visibility within our membership and the communities that we serve. It's an honor and a pleasure to continue working with our professional staff and fellow board members to publicize the good works of the Foundation and seek opportunities to increase awareness among our members."
The Foundation invites comments and suggestions from AOII members and Foundation donors. Please contact these new Board members, any other Board members, or staff with any questions or feedback you have.
